Welcome to my site. From here you can view my work, purchase prints, or commission me. I have had the pleasure to explore la capture de la lumiere (the capture of light) with Photography since leaving the National Art School, Sydney in 1978.
I have pursued my PhotoImaging practice commercially by shooting stills for theatre and film, photographing thoroughbred racehorses, working for community and government organisations, and private enterprise. I taught commercial photography within TAFE NSW for over twenty years from 1996.
My work has been published in various media - hardcopy and online - and is represented in collections in Australia and overseas.
I have consistently exhibited my work since 1978, having had seven solo exhibitions and participated in over fifty five group shows.
With the advent of digital photography at the beginning of the 21st century I started to adopt the term PhotoImaging. I see it as an extension of the term Photography. I believe it is inclusive of the many intuitive possibilities of software programmes like Adobe's Lightroom and Photoshop. We utilise their tools, some being digital darkroom like, in post-production on our image files. I now use a Fujifilm mirrorless camera and Fujinon lenses primarily, as well as a drone (occasionally).
My passionate exploration of the capture of light has extended over four decades, and l maintain my teaching and exhibition practice.
My journey continues
